A smaller version of the classic Ditali Rigati , the Mezzi Ditali Rigati belong to the family of particularly short pasta with a straight cut and originate from the Campania region.
 
Inspired by the shape of the sewing accessory of the same name (thimble), but opened in the upper part, the Mezzi Ditali Rigati are versatile for pasta dishes with tomatoes as well as for soups and soup pots thanks to their grooves and porosity.
 
The Mezzi Ditali Rigati are particularly suitable for preparing pasta dishes with various sauces, ranging from meat to fish, from vegetables to pulses. The secret to a perfect recipe is that the sauces have a particularly fluid consistency so that they are collected inside the pasta.
